Yes, both spa amenities are completely private, exclusive to your group, and available year-round at this luxury Vermont yurt. The 7-person hot tub stays at 102°F year-round on the spacious deck with forest views near a peaceful creek. No cameras monitor the hot tub area. Shower first, no oils or glass allowed, keep cover on when not in use. Children under 12 are not permitted, and minors 12 and older may use the hot tub only with direct adult supervision. If water was changed or refilled, it may take 1-4 hours to heat after check-in. For the cedar sauna, heat to 160-185°F, limit sessions to 30 minutes, stay hydrated. ### How many guests can this cabin accommodate? Up to 8 guests. Two private queen bedrooms with USB-C charging and adjustable pillows sleep 4, each pair behind its own door. It applies only to some stays: bookings made within 3 days of check-in, or stays priced under $500 a night. Your quote shows a Damage deposit hold line when it applies, and every other stay carries no hold at all. It is a hold on your payment method, not a charge, the same way a hotel holds a card for incidentals. At booking you pay only the stay total. When a hold applies, the evening before check-in (right away for last-minute bookings) we place a separate $500 hold on the payment method you booked with. It shows on your statement as a pending $500 with YURT HOLD in the description, but the money never leaves your account. If there is no damage we release the hold within 4 days after checkout, and your bank can take a few more business days to clear the pending line. Nothing is refunded later because nothing extra was charged. Card holds expire after about 5-7 days, so on longer stays we may release the first hold and place a fresh one, which can briefly show as two pending $500 lines while your bank clears the earlier one. On a debit card the hold does reduce your available balance until it is released, so a credit card is easier. We capture part or all of the hold only with an itemized list and photos, for property damage, excessive cleaning beyond normal use, smoking, vaping, hookahs, cannabis, or tobacco anywhere on the property, unpaid pet fees or pet-related damage, missing or broken items, unreturned activity equipment, or house-rule violations, and anything above $500 is handled under the Rental Agreement. For stays without a hold we keep the payment method on file under the Rental Agreement and charge only documented damage, with the same itemized list and photos.
